Getting around

Is there Uber in Aruba?

No, Uber and Lyft do not operate in Aruba. To get around the island you can use taxis, a rental car, the Arubus public bus or a pre-booked private transfer.

Taxis

Licensed taxis wait at the airport, cruise terminal and larger hotels. Fares are fixed per route and paid per car.

Public bus (Arubus)

Arubus connects Oranjestad with the hotel areas and San Nicolas. It is affordable but less practical with luggage.

Private transfers

The closest thing to booking a ride in an app: you reserve online, your driver is confirmed in advance and waits for you, in a premium SUV or van.
